This app is a fantastic distillation of the essential concepts of calculus, including a brilliant design that links to other supporting concepts explained within the program. Buttons to expand explanations when needed keep from overwhelming the student and allow deeper investigation when desired. Supporting problems explore the various dimensions of each concept, insuring that the learner can see the skill used in a variety of core examples. True, it does not cover every last concept. But this is, in fact, a good thing. By focusing on fundamental calculation techniques, as well as the reasoning behind them and why they matter, learners can focus on essentials. I have been using this app as an aid through both calc I and calc II. So pleased I found this app!!

I really like this app. Its a great tool for review. I recently started tutoring College algebra, and this is a quick way to review. Im now studying calculus two and its very helpful for that. My only complaint is that there isnt an app like this for more classes.

This app is amazing and thoroughly designed. If you dont understand something, there are usually links that breakdown what is going on. You can work on the examples given and really understand why you are doing something because of the easy language that was used to explain things.

It has good explanations but it is a bit too expensive ($2.99). The examples are nice and easy to follow and I do like the way this app is organized. Please add advanced Calculus (II +). I could really use this for the washer method etc. :)

Its funny how we pay thousands of dollars to take this class in college and this app explains literally everything Ive covered so far (and with helpful animations) for only $2.99. I usually shy away from paid apps, however if you are looking for a study resource for Calc I, this is your best bet for sure. I am not sure if there is a "Calc II FTW" app out there or possibly in the making but I pray there is before next semester comes around.

This app is great!

I had to switch classes three weeks into the current semester and have been playing "catch up" ever since. Ive tried books, apps, websites,MOOCs—some helped; others, not so much. Then I found this app. Its exactly what I needed: all of the material in a first-year Calculus course is covered, and its explained well in simple, straightforward, everyday English. There are examples and illustrations; even interactive animations. It even has practice problems designed to be representative of exam questions. Theres nothing to download, and nothing else to buy (as far as I know). Its like having a personal Calculus tutor who fits in my pocket and costs only $3. If you find a better Calculus app, Ill eat my hat (I dont wear hats, but you should still buy this app).

The app only gives between 1 and 5 examples of each type of equation. Its actually a waste of time. This is no help at all for revising.

Using it to refresh before going back to school and having to take additional calculus courses. I just started using it and can already tell its going to be perfect for me. I pretty much forgot everything, and navigating around is very easy. I can click a definition and get back to the lesson without worrying about going back to the home screen and scrolling back to where I was. The explanations are also wonderful! Highly recommend

It helps one understand the concepts, I like it because I can take it with me and read notes and understand then see examples. Nice app for those who struggle with concepts.

This is a well put together app. $2.99? Dish out the loot. Better than your $50 text book

One of the best resources available for calculus. Great way of breaking down problems and offering hints to solutions. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it had more practice problems to work through.

Perfect resource to learn calculus. Really like the problems sets and the way they explain every step of the solution for when I get stuck. Update I have continued to work through this app. It is fantastic. This is they way all math should be taught. I feel like I have a math tutor with me at all times. Keep up the great work. How about a a version 2 for Calc 3 & 4.

This is a very good resource for those of us who took calculus many years ago & need a quick refresher to solve a problem.

Actually teaches calculus, you no longer have to look through millions of videos and webpages that leave you even more confused than before. Cant recommend it enough.
